Directional lock, can be retrofitted, operated with a foot pedal, latching
Structure and function
- Directional locks (separate) are fitted to the top plate of the swivel castor. Actuating the brake lever removes the directional lock, allowing the castor to swivel.
- Pushing the brake lever upwards allows the castors to latch back in when travelling straight (blocks the swivel motion of the castors).
Advantages
- multiple directional locks connected together using a rod possible
- can be retrofitted to standard castors
- stability + flexibility at the workstation
